This is a series of everyday objects that I have abstracted to make the mundane more interesting. I have posted some of these photographs before, but I wanted to put more of the series up. I may be extending this project and see what direction I might go in next, so I have been thinking about this group of work a lot. I always seem to go back to this series because it is the most exciting for me and have found a great admiration for abstract photography. This is something I find the most thrilling in photography. I am hoping this will maybe get me somewhere in the long run if I keep working at it,we will have to see. . .
Something that might be interesting that we talked about in my BFA class would be to take this concept, and go further. Like, what else can you do, how can you change it, etc etc. Maybe experiment with focusing on urban themes or nature? I have faith you know what I'm talking about.
